Frozen 2 continues to dominate the box office, taking the crown for the third weekend in a row.
According to Variety, the Disney sequel brought in $34.7 million domestically, declining 60% from Thanksgiving weekend. However, Disney has no reason to be alarmed at the steep decline, as the film has brought in a domestic haul of $337 million.
On the international stage, the film brought in $90 million for a total of $920 million across all markets. It is the third film this year to win the box office three years in a row, following Avengers: Endgame and Glass' leads.
Frozen 2's competition, The Playmobile Movie, bombed at the box office, earning an abysmal $668,000 from 2,337 theaters. Although the film made $12.5 million internationally, that is unlikely to save the $75 million picture from being labeled one of the worst bombs in movie history.
Knives Out took second place in its second weekend of release, earning $14.5 million. That brings its North American total to $63.5 million and its global haul to $124 million.
In theaters now, Disney's Frozen 2 reunites directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and producer Del Vecho with voice actors Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad. Returning musical talents include Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
