Pirates are always fun characters to play in Dungeons & Dragons. Fighting monsters with a Swashbuckler Rogue from a Sailor background can make for an amazing seafaring campaign. Stede Bonnet, however, is a unique pirate. This historical figure may be recognized by Assassin's Creed fans from Black Flag. More recently, Stede is portrayed in HBO's Our Flag Means Death by Rhys Darby.
