SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 2," the second installment of this year's Arrowverse crossover.
Apparently Brandon Routh isn't portraying the Kingdom Come Superman after all.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 2" revealed Routh is reprising his role as the Man of Steel from 2006's Superman Returns.
Near the end of the Batwoman episode of the Arrowverse crossover, it's revealed Routh's Clark Kent has a son named Jason, which is the name of Superman and Lois Lane's son in Superman Returns.
The Arrowverse Superman, played by Tyler Hoechlin, travels with Lois Lane to Earth-96 to stop Lex Luthor from killing that Earth's Superman, which turns out to be Routh. He is later revealed to be the Paragon of Truth, one of the four heroes destined to help turn the tide against the Anti-Monitor. Routh's Superman meets back up with the other Arrowverse heroes, which leads to an interesting meeting with his "cousin," Supergirl.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths" continues in The Flash on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. After the winter hiatus, the crossover will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in Arrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
