Avengers: Endgame is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most significant entry to date, and there's no shortage of surprises throughout the film's 181-minute runtime
One of the biggest surprises is Smart Hulk (aka Professor Hulk) -- a Bruce Banner who's finally in control of the Green Goliath Hulk, and concept artist Jerad S. Marantz has shared his take on the character.
In Infinity War, Hulk doesn't a full comeback after losing a fight against Thanos in the opening scene of the film. Banner does his best to bring his other half back but to no avail, forcing him to don the Hulkbuster armor during the movie's final battle in Wakanda. However, following Endgame's five-year time jump, Banner finally figures out a way to control his Hulk form while maintaining his humanity, making him "the best of both worlds," as he puts it in the film.
This new form also comes in handy when Hulk uses Iron Man's Nano Gauntlet to bring back those dusted during Infinity War.
