Soon, the hotly-anticipated “Crisis on Infinite Earths” will take the Arrowverse by storm. Fans will finally get answers to questions they have had ever since the ambitious crossover started filming last fall.
However, one answer has already arrived, not even a day before the start of the television event.
Back in October, Stephen Amell shared a behind-the-scenes photo featuring his Green Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, Batwoman, Superman and the Atom. But there was one mysterious character Amell had censored from the photo.
Now, the Arrow star has shared the full, unredacted version of the photo on Twitter, and it reveals what many already suspected: the hidden character is Katherine McNamara’s Mia Smoak. But the real surprise isn’t the character’s presence — it’s the costume she is wearing.
Ever since she debuted on Arrow, whether she has found herself in the year 2040 or 2019, Mia has worn a black outfit, complete with a leather jacket. However, this photo shows her own Green Arrow costume, which she will presumably wear in her spinoff series, Green Arrow and the Canaries.
Arrow’s penultimate episode, which airs following the conclusion of “Crisis on Infinite Earths," will set the stage for Green Arrow and the Canaries. The series will see Mia team up with Black Canaries Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake in Star City in the year 2040.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Supergirl, then continues in Batwoman on Monday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in The Flash on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. After the winter hiatus, the crossover will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in Arrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
