With Avengers: Endgame holding the top spot as the year's biggest film as 2019 comes to an end, three new deleted scenes from the Marvel Studios blockbuster have since surfaced online that includes footage that could have fundamentally altered both the final film and the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe had they been incorporated into the theatrical cut. Some of the scenes are alternate takes of existing sequences within the finished film while one other is new content altogether.
Two of the deleted scenes are special features exclusive to Endgame's release on the newly launched premium streaming service Disney+ while the other is leaked footage of alternate takes from across the film's epic, climactic battle against the time-displaced Thanos and his fearsome army on Earth in the ruins of the Avengers headquarters.
Check out the video below for more details on the newly revealed deleted scenes from Avengers: Endgame and how they could've altered the final film and larger MCU.
The three scenes join a whole host of other deleted scenes and alternate takes that were initially unveiled when Endgame was first released on home video this past July. Each of the deleted scenes provide an interesting glimpse at what could of been for the definitive MCU film that may have each altered the course of the MCU in their own way as the shared cinematic universe boldly moves into Phase 4 next year.
