2020 is going to kick off in a big way for DC, as it appears Superman outing himself as Clark Kent may lead to the destruction of the Daily Planet.
DC debuted a first look at Brian Michael Bendis, Ivan Reis, Joe Prado and Alex Sinclair's Superman #19, which features the iconic Daily Planet lying in shambles, the glistening gold globe that normally sits atop it shattered on the ground below.

- What happens the day after Superman reveals his secret identity to the world? And what repercussions will his decision have across the entire DC Universe?
- In Shops: Jan 08, 2020
Although Superman will reveal his identity, Bendis made it clear this doesn't mean it's the end of Clark Kent. "I get why people would immediately think … that Clark Kent just goes away," he said. "Clark Kent is a huge part of who [Superman] is. It’s who he grew up as. He’s not giving it up." Nevertheless, while it might not be the end of Clark, it may be the end of his civilian identity's career.
Superman #19, by Brian Michael Bendis, Ivan Reis, Joe Prado and Alex Sinclair, goes on sale Jan. 8, 2020 from DC.
