An Unexpected X-Book Was the Best Selling Comic of November 2019

The X-Men better watch out, as the sales statistics for November 2019 reveal the best-selling book of the month was New Mutants #1.

According to Diamond Comic Distributors' sales numbers, Jonathan Hickman, Ed Brisson and Rod Reis' New Mutants #1 was the best-selling book of the month. Hickman and Leinil Francis Yu's X-Men #2 took the second spot, while Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman's Absolute Carnage #5 snagged third. Fellow X-books X-Force #1, by Benjamin Percy and Joshua Cassara, and Fallen Angels #1, by Bryan Edward Hill and Szymon Kudranski, took fourth and fifth, respectively.

New Mutants is part of Hickman's Dawn of X relaunch, which has seen a major status quo shift for the mutants of the Marvel universe as they band together to form and run the island nation of Krakoa in the wake of House of X and Powers of XNew Mutants sees the classic team returning and embarking on a mission into deep space to rescue one of their allies, which has gotten them into some hot water with the Shi'ar.
