Marvel's mystery X-Men team just recruited two more members for its roster: Mr. Sinister and Scalphunter.

The announcement on the official Marvel Entertainment Twitter reads: "With a crew like this, you can bet Mr. Sinister is pulling the strings. And with Scalphunter along for the ride, what could possibly go wrong? #MarvelComics"  Two more of the silhouette figures were filled in, revealing Mr. Sinister and Scalphunter front and center.

On December 3, Marvel released a piece of teaser art for "the most dysfunctional X-Men team you could possibly imagine." Since then, Marvel has unveiled another two characters each day via their Twitter account. First came Havok and Psylocke, then Nanny and Orphanmaker. Now that Scalphunter and Sinister were announced, that leaves one more set of reveals.

Created by Chris Claremont, John Romita Jr. and Dan Green, Scalphunter first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #210. Like most of this team, he is primarily known as an X-Men villain.

Mister Sinister was also created by Chris Claremont. He was first mentioned in Uncanny X-Men #213, but it wasn't until Uncanny X-Men #221 that his appearance was fully revealed. Since then, he's become one of the X-Men's most notorious villains, playing a hand in some of the team's most notable plots like 1986's "Mutant Massacre."

Stay tuned to CBR each day this week as members of this mysterious, dysfunctional X-Men team are revealed.
