Disney has released Frozen 2's flagship song "Into the Unknown" exactly as it appears in the film.
The full film sequence for the song appears on the studio's official music channel on YouTube. While the entire Frozen 2 soundtrack is available in other forms on the channel, "Into the Unknown" is the first song to have its film version available for streaming online.
This is not to say that 'Into the Unknown' was absent from the Internet. The film sequence version joins no less than seven other iterations of the song on the DisneyMusicVEVO YouTube channel. These are, in order of release: a short First Listen clip, the Panic! At the Disco lyric video, the instrumental audio version, the Panic! at the Disco instrumental audio version, the film audio version, the lyric video for the film audio version and the official music video for the Panic! At the Disco version. Together, these seven different videos have over 41 million views at time of writing, with the lyric video for the Idina Menzel/AURORA version of the song being the most popular, at almost 16 million views. The film sequence version has performed well following its release, racking up over a million views since its release today.
In theaters now, Disney's Frozen 2 reunites directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and producer Del Vecho with voice actors Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad. Returning musical talents include Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
