With less than a year until the release of Marvel Studios' first Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, a leaked set photo has revealed the Marvel Cinematic Universe has yet to recover from Thanos' devasting snap.
The image shows an advertisement for "Samson Development," followed by the phrase, "Rebuilding Your City After The Blip." Although Marvel initially referred to the snap as the Devastation, Spider-Man: Far From Home established that the moment those who were snapped away returned was called the Blip.
This newest photo arrives shortly after a previous set of images showcasing an Easter egg for Marvel's Battlestar.
Beyond just addressing the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, the existence of Samson Development may prove the company has taken the place of Tony Stark's Damage Control initiative since the Iron Avenger's heroic death. In the MCU, Stark created Damage Control following the Battle of New York in 2012's The Avengers, the purpose of which was to assist in rebuilding after superhero-related catastrophes.
Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell and Daniel Brühl and will be available on Disney+ in fall 2020.
